U.S. Border Patrol agents in south Texas took several previously deported sexual predators off the streets after they had illegally re-entered the U.S.

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested multiple illegal aliens who had previously been convicted of sexual crimes against children in a variety of American states.

Information obtained by Breitbart Texas from U.S. Border Patrol officials revealed that agents assigned to the McAllen Station arrested a Honduran national near the border community of Hidalgo, Texas. Agents processed the suspected illegal alien and learned the Honduran man had been previously arrested in Virginia. A records check revealed the man had been arrested in June 1998 by the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia. The illegal alien had been charged with “Sex with a child under 13,” Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Marlene Castro stated.

Nearly 80 miles inland, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Falfurrias Checkpoint in Brooks County arrested two additional illegal alien sexual predators. Agents found a Salvadoran male near the town of Encino. This community is a known human smuggling area were illegal aliens are dropped off to hike through ranches around the Falfurrias Checkpoint on Highway 281.

This week, agents arrested the Salvadoran national and took him to the Falfurrias Station for processing. A records check on the man revealed he had been arrested in November 2003 by the Aurora Police Department in Colorado. The man was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child and sentenced to 9 years in prison before being deported.

The Falfurrias agents arrested a second suspect later that day in the same area. This time, the agents discovered a Honduran national. A records check on the man revealed he had been arrested in December 2010 on charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles, and Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. The charges were filed by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana.

In July 2014, Breitbart Texas rode with Brooks County sheriff’s deputies in this area and discovered a van later determined to be packed with 20 illegal immigrants, including women and small children, who were being smuggled to the Encino drop-off area. The driver of the van attempted to flee and a short chase ensued before he drove off the road and the immigrants fled the scene. Within hours, all twenty had been captured.

All three suspects who had committed sexual offenses against children in Virginia, Colorado, and Louisiana, were turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials for possible prosecution on felony charges of illegal re-entry by a sex offender.

The lack of proper border security enables these heinous criminals to re-enter the United States at will after being deported for sexual offenses against children and other crimes. Breitbart Texas has reported extensively on the arrests of those previously deported sex offenders and other criminal aliens who have either been captured illegally re-entering the U.S., or who have committed additional crimes after successfully evading capture while re-entering the U.S.

Earlier this week, another previously deported criminal alien was arrested in Harris County (Houston) after he and a fellow MS-13 gang member allegedly lured a 15-year-old girl to a trailer and sexually assaulted her multiple times. The two men had used social media apps where they posed as “music producers” to lure the girl from her home in northeast Texas to Houston where they repeatedly assaulted the young girl, Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said during a press conference attended by Breitbart Texas.

Pedro Lopez, a 24-year-old Mexican national, has been previously deported two times following criminal offenses. In 2008, Lopez was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was deported after being sentenced to seven years in prison. He re-entered the U.S. and in June of this year, he was convicted for Driving While Intoxicated. He was again deported but wasted no time in returning to the U.S. to commit additional crimes.
