Two illegal immigrants have been arrested in connection with an Erie County Sheriff’s raid into New York homes with nearly 100 pounds of marijuana.

Nkomo Hepburn and Michelle Palmer, illegal immigrants living in Buffalo, New York, were arrested after sheriff’s deputies raided two local homes, finding five buckets of marijuana, or about 100 pounds.

Additionally, two loaded handguns were found at the residences, according to WIVB News. A third suspect, 25-year-old Sanjay Cousins of Buffalo, was arrested by deputies as well.

Police told the media that all three suspects are facing charges, but Hepburn and Palmer are also facing federal charges, along with possible deportation, for their immigration statuses.
