Herman Cain is starting a new TV Internet site, CainTV. On the Facebook page, the blurb reads : “Whether you are looking for commentary, comedy, or culture, CainTV delivers it all in an Informed, Inspirational, and INtertaining way.”
That does say it all about Mr. Cain; he rose to prominence by hosting a widely listened to radio show, and was quite articulate in presenting the kind of conservative economic values that resonated with many on the right. He was and is an inspiring speaker; audiences in the primary debates largely felt that he was one of the most passionate in the group. As for being entertaining, no one survives very long on radio without entertaining the audience, and he has hosted his very successful show for years.
There is little doubt that, with the paucity of entertainment available these days (just try flipping through your cable channels for anything intelligent from the conservative side), Mr. Cain’s show will be a welcome oasis in the vast wasteland of liberal media that surrounds us.
