This morning, Politico published a story about how President Obama had called Governor Mitt Romney a “bullshitter.” But in true Politico fashion, they buried the lead to help their man. Their headline? “Obama says kids know Romney is dishonest.”
Yes. Seriously. That was their headline.
The story is not that Obama thinks children can recognize dishonesty. It’s his language. He hates Gov. Romney and thinks he’s a pathological liar; he called him a “bullshitter.” Is there any doubt that if Romney had called Obama anything of the sort, Politico would have blared the word in 20-pt. font?
