CNN Scoops FBI With Benghazi Suspect 'Get'

Talk about a big “get.” CNN did something that Obama’s Justice Department has been unable to do in the eleven months since the terrorist attacks on the US consulate in Benghazi: They interviewed the lead suspect in the case.

Ahmed Abdu Khattala sat with reporter Arwa Damon for an exclusive one-on-one. Khattala has been accused of playing a lead role in the attack that left the US Ambassador and three other Americans dead and an unknown number injured, some still recovering but out of the reach of the media, and even some Congressmen.

Noah Rothman reports that the suspect in the brutal attack is not in hiding and has not been contacted in any way by authorities:

Khattala told Damon that no one from either the Libyan or American governments has contacted him asking for his take on the events of that deadly night in 2012. “Even the investigative team did not try to contact me,” he said of the FBI team that traveled to Libya in the wake of the attack.
