Palin: MSM Would've Respected Cruz Had He Worn Pink Shoes, Supported Abortion

Former Alaska Governor slammed the mainstream media for gushing over Texas Democrat State Senator Wendy Davis for filibustering in support of abortion policies a majority of Texans and Americans disapproved of while lambasting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for speaking on the Senate floor for 21 hours against an Obamacare law that a majority of Texans and Americans dislike.

In a Wednesday Facebook post, Palin said that instead of calling out President Barack Obama for saying the “world is more stable than it was five years ago” at his Tuesday speech before the U.N. General Assembly before listing examples of how the world is less stable “in the next breath,” his “reliable lapdogs in the media turn their attention and ire on Ted Cruz for daring to stand up for the American people.”

“Maybe if Ted had worn pretty pink running shoes he’d have gotten more respect from the same leftwing media that gushed over the Texan state senator who filibustered in the Texas legislature for the right to late term abortions of babies (a position at odds with the sentiment of the majority of Texans and Americans),” Palin wrote

Palin’s comments were in reference to the pink running shoes Davis wore during her filibuster. Cruz revealed that he had purchased and was wearing a comfortable pair of black tennis shoes for his Senate remarks instead of his trademark cowboy boots that he wears for arguments.
