'Breitbart News Sunday' on SXM 125: Shutdown, Default, Craig James, Ben Shapiro

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from 7 PM to 10 PM EDT, former college football broadcaster Craig James will join host and Breitbart News executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon to discuss his firing from Fox Sports because of his religious beliefs.

James, the former SMU and NFL running back and broadcaster, will discuss his lawsuit against Fox Sports in which evidence is presented that implicates the network’s top executives for firing him for his religious beliefs and comments in support of traditional marriage. James made those public comments for which he got fired when he ran his losing campaign in the 2012 Texas Republican Senate primary, a year before the network hired him.

Austin Ruse will be on the program to discuss the the controversial The Book of Matthew, written by a gay journalist who presents evidence that Matthew Shepard, who was lionized by the mainstream media as a victim of a gay hate crime, was actually murdered by his gay lover who may have been a drug dealer.

Breitbart News Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will be on the show to discuss the launch TruthRevolt.org, an important and groundbreaking initiative that will seek to expose the mainstream media and “unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases.”

Dr. Peter Morici, who can be followed on Twitter @PMorici1, will be on the program to discuss where the country stands on the debt ceiling. Morici is an economist and a professor at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business and a prolific commentator on fiscal and budgetary issues on numerous programs on the major broadcast and cable networks.

Breitbart News legal analyst Ken Klukowski will be on the program to discuss what is on tap for the upcoming Supreme Court session.

Brian Baker, the president of Ending Spending Action Fund, will discuss the state of the Virginia gubernatorial race and the independent expenditures seeking to influence the marquee 2013 contest.

Larry Kawa, who owns a small business (Kawa Orthodontics) in Florida, joined Judicial watch to sue the Obama administration on the grounds that the Obama administration’s one-year delay of the individual mandate is unlawful. He will discuss his lawsuit on the program.

Kawa recently told Breitbart news that he “became politically active in conservative politics about a year and a half ago” and has “devoted much of my focus to helping the Black community better understand their political surroundings and hosting complimentary events to welcome them further.”

“I was not satisfied so [I] brought a federal requesting an injunction of his illegal actions and a declaratory action to memorialize that it was illegal,” Kawa told Breitbart News. “I have ‘standing’ (injury) of time, money, and resources to file suit in District Court under the APA (Administrative Procedure Act).”

Kawa continued, “I look forward to the opportunity to defend the Constitution and the will of the American people in Federal Court. My goal is not to dismantle the law but rather to enforce it vigorously. We are clearly legally correct. We simply need a judge to acknowledge it.”

Bannon hosts the weekly three-hour program that helps sets the next week’s news cycle from the center right.
