Citing Technicality Obama Campaign Ignores Pledge, Takes Money From Lobbyists

The man who pledged to “change how Washington works” by not accepting campaign contributions from Washington lobbyists has, in fact, taken over $5 million in contributions from individuals involved in lobbying. The White House has found an intriguing loophole in the president’s pledge allowing him to accept the funds from CEO’s of lobbying firms who are not personally involved with direct lobbying.
