IL State Senator Uses Church Pulpit To Bash Republicans

From Rebel Pundit: On Sunday, the People’s Church of Chicago in Uptown along with Occupy Chicago hosted “Occupy the Dream,” an event to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. During the assembly, community organizers called elected officials to the pulpit to get their commitment to supporting certain left wing political agendas.

State Senator Heather Steans (D) agreed to push forward the agendas proposed and vowed to push for a progressive tax rate in Illinois. She began her short comments by directly ridiculing Republicans from the pulpit.
