Jimmy Carter: Newt 'Has That Subtlety Of Racism'

In an interview with Piers Morgan, former president Jimmy Carter leveled the charge that Newt Gingrich subtly uses racism for political advantage. “I’m not saying he’s racist, but he knows the subtle words to use to appeal to a racist group,” he stated.



It appears Mr. Carter has been sharing notes with Chris Matthews, who also employed a wheels-within-wheels approach to find fault with Mr. Gingrich’s spirited defense of employment over entitlements.
