Ryan Open To VP; Doesn't Rule Out Convention Draft

Radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt asked Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) if he would consider being a vice presidential nominee on the GOP ticket. Ryan said, “If it happens, I’ll think about it then; If I ever got to that bridge, I’ll think about whether to cross it or not.”

Asked if he would be “available” in the event of a convention deadlock, Ryan explained that it’s nowhere “close to [his] mind” but did not categorically rule it out.
