Spitzer: Crowley 'Took Victory Away From Romney'

Former Governor Elliot Spitzer on the “Bill Press Show”: “The emotional highlight of the night — was the one that the Republicans are gonna go crazy about — was when Candy Crowley turned to Mitt Romney and said, ‘No, you’re wrong about what the President said in the Rose Garden.’ I think that really deflated what otherwise should have been on the Benghazi issue a moment when Romney could have hit it out of the park. But, instead, he took a step too far. Candy came in as sort of the voice of neutrality and took the victory away from Romney and I think from that moment on the President really had emotional control of the floor.”
