Victims of Superstorm Sandy Outraged Over Lack of Assistance From FEMA

Fox News: There is outrage over the slow pace of recovery efforts in the Northeast, 12 days after superstorm Sandy impacted the region. Some victims say they are not receiving help from the Red Cross or FEMA. As the temperatures dropped, residents are dealing with no power which means no heat or water in many cases.

One woman described the horrendous odor coming from the garbage that is piling up. Fox News’ Anna Kooiman reported from one of the hardest hit areas, Staten Island. There are signs of progress and hundreds of volunteers have popped up despite the lack of government help.

President Obama is expected to be in New York on Thursday
