POLITICO: It is “absolutely imperative” that Gen. David Petraeus testify about what went wrong in Libya, even as he reels from his sex scandal roiling the intelligence community, the top Republican on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee said Tuesday.
The panel, which has launched an investigation into the Benghazi attack, does not have jurisdiction over the FBI, which was probing Petraeus’ extramarital affair that brought down the CIA director last week. But Collins expressed concerns about the conduct of the FBI in its inquiry.
