Rice Defends Benghazi Comments For First Time

Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, for the first time defended initial remarks she made that the deadly attack on a U.S. Consulate in Libya appeared to be a spontaneous outburst. Rice said she made it clear her comments were based on “preliminary” information.
