John McCain 'Significantly Troubled' After Susan Rice Meeting

Top Senators met with Ambassador Susan Rice this morning behind closed doors to discuss her involvement in the Benghazi fallout after the attack. Rice has been heavily criticized and charged with misleading the American people for falsely claiming days after the attack that it was not a terrorist attack, but a spontaneous protest over a youtube video.

McCain told reporters after the meeting that Republicans who attended the meeting are, “significantly troubled by the answers we got — and some that we didn’t get concerning evidence that was overwhelming, leading up to the attack on our consulate, the tragic deaths of four brave Americans, and whether Ambassador Rice was prepared or informed sufficiently in order to give the American people a correct depiction of the events that took place.”
