GOP Lawmakers Send 'Fiscal Cliff' Counter-Offer To WH

FOX NEWS: Republican lawmakers have sent a letter to President Obama that countered the president’s offer to keep the country from falling over the fiscal cliff — a possibility that’s now less than a month away.

Fox News correspondent Wendell Goler reported on the counter-offer from the Capitol, calling it a “non-starter.” Republicans say it’s based on recommendations from the president’s own debt and deficit reduction commission, but whether or not Obama will see it that way is up for debate.
