Apparently, Santa Claus has been hired by a left-wing activist group called TheAction.org:
Today, Santa Claus, working closely with Catholics United, called on Congress to extend tax cuts for the middle class before Christmas.
Despite the long journey from the North Pole, Father Christmas diligently checked the halls of Congress for representatives willing to stand up for working families.
Instead, he found Paul Ryan, who has refused to sign the discharge petition that would force the House to vote on the Middle Class Tax Cut Act. Mr. Claus informed Ryan that he should expect a lump of coal in his stocking unless he takes action.
