GOP Senator: Dem Budget Would Trap Millions In Poverty

WASHINGTON, March 22–In a speech last night on the Senate floor, Ranking Member Sessions laid out a detailed case for how the nation’s debt is harming our economy right now; how struggling Americans are trapped in lives of dependency right now, with the only solution being offered is to send them more government checks; and how the Murray budget offers no reforms to help lift them out of poverty and help them find good-paying jobs to support themselves and their families.
