Obama Never Confirms No One In White House Knew About IRS Scandal

President Obama was asked during a press conference on Thursday to “assure the American people that nobody in the White House knew about the IRS’ actions before the Counsel’s Office found out on April 22nd. The President responded by saying, “I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press.” The President went on to say that what he learned from the Inspector General’s report was “unacceptable.”
