California Ranks 47th In Economic Opportunity

AFP California: Competition in business provides more consumers more choices for better products at better prices. The same principles apply in competition between states for business development and jobs. Freedom to choose where we live and do business compels state governments to offer a better business environment or lose businesses, jobs and the tax base to other states. Rich States Poor States ranks states by economic opportunity. California dropped nine positions in one year due to tax increases and the implementation of new regulations on businesses.
