Madagascar Fights to Save Lemurs from Extinction

(AFP) – Lemurs, who only live on the island of Madagascar, are under threat from deforestation and poaching. NGOs are trying to save the species but they are fighting poverty, hunger and a lack of awareness among the local communities.
