Reid Apologizes For Lack of Civility

Reid took a moment for “self-criticism” on the Senate floor Friday morning when he lamented the lack of “civility and decorum” that has surrounded the current government shutdown in Washington. Reid lamented that the “aura” of former Senator Robert Byrd had left the chamber and reiterated the decorum rules of the Senate. “I’ll work harder and I hope my senators will work to their best to maintain these habits of civility and decorum,” he said.
