Nebraska Stuns Northwestern on Hail Mary

Nebraska quarterback Ron Kellogg heaved a desperation hail mary pass on Saturday with the Huskers trailing Northwestern 24-21 with four seconds left. And it worked. Northwestern did not bat the ball down, and Nebraska’s Jordan Westerkamp caught his first career touchdown pass off of the deflection to give Nebraska a 27-24 win and begin the pandemonium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The catch may have bought embattled Nebraska coach Bo Pelini some more time as well on the job.
