Carney Confirms Politics Involved in Obama Opposition to Iraq Surge

In responding to a question from NBC White House corespondent Chuck Todd about former Defense Secretary Robert Gates remarks critical of the president in his soon-to-be-released memoir, White House press secretary Jay Carney confirms Obama’s opposition to the Iraq war was partially political and consistent.
