Crist: Race Part of Reaction to 2009 Obama Hug

In appearance on Tuesday’s “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central, former Florida Republican Gov. Charlie Crist, now a Democratic hopeful for the same position, made the charge that race was a motivating factor behind the backlash of his hug with President Barack Obama back in 2009.
