During House Foreign Affair Committee hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) charged the West as being the bad actors in the current dispute between the Ukraine and Russia.
Committee chairman Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA) fired back at Grayson, who had made the argument for Russia’s annexation of Ukraine. Royce politely explained to Grayson that the Russians lead by Joseph Stalin “ethnically cleansed” over 6 million people during the Soviet Union’s “population transfers” including in Crimea. Millions died in gulags as Russians migrated into the region.
