CNN Reporter Upsets Obama Asking Japan's PM If He Trusts US: Red Line 'Preceded My Birth'

CNN’s Jim Acosta appeared to upset President Barack Obama during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan by asking, “Mr. President in regards to the Senkaku Islands, I just want to make sure that this is absolutely clear, are you saying the us would consider using military force were China to have some sort of military incursion into those islands, to protect those islands? And how does that not draw another red line that you would have to enforce putting U.S. credibility, your credibly on the line once again as it was in Syria in Russia?”

Acosta then went on to ask the Abe, “Do you have confidence in President Obama’s assurances about your security when the U.S. and the West were unable to stop Russia advances in Ukraine?”

Obama defended himself by pointing out the so-called “red line” was drawn prior to his birth…
