N-Word Rap Lyric Hacked on to California Electrical Highway Sign

ABC 10 NEWS: JAMUL, Calif. – A racist message displayed overnight on a highway sign has sparked outrage and concern in the East County.

The hacked sign along state Route 94 near the Jamul Indian Village read, “(N-word) ON 94 OHH KILL EM.”

A 10News viewer sent in a photo of the sign near Melody Road. The photo was taken just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. The sign was changed back to normal after the California Highway Patrol received multiple complaints.
