The Veterans Affairs’ Office of the Inspector General reports that 26 VA facilities are now being investigated in the growing scandal over wait times at VA facilities. The report comes after VA Secretary Eric Shinseki testified that the scandal only took place in “a couple” of facilities and that he believed the VA’s problems were not systemic, but rather “isolated.” Despite the media firestorm surrounding the scandal, CNN reported that Shinseki is still dodging CNN and numerous other media outlets, even though CNN has been “trying for months.”
