In an interview with NPR’s Steve Inskeep, President Barack Obama claimed we were “fortunate’ America is not facing any serious crisis right now, at least as it compares to other hotspots in the world.
Obama also indicated his Ukraine policy was a success, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin having annexed the Crimea region of the Ukraine.
Inskeep questioned the Obama casting the recent events in the Ukraine as a success, to which Obama downplayed the prowess of Putin.
On topics of China and Syria, Obama emphasized international law over U.S. military action as the only answer.
