George Will: For a Supposedly 'Whipped-Up' Controversy, Bergdahl Concerns Are 'Remarkably Bipartisan'

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Washington Post columnist George Will discussed President BArack Obama’s claim that the backlash over the Bergdahl swap was “whipped up” by republicans. Will said “When he says it’s whipped up, he means it’s synthetic. when he means it’s synthetic he means it’s inauthentic. which means yet again, a recurring theme in his presidency, which there it’s no such thing as honest intelligent disagreement with him.” citing Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WA), and Jay Rockefeller (D-WA) objections to the lack of notification of Congress Will added, “the project of whipping it up is remarkably bipartisan.”
