Bill Richardson: There is No Evidence Bergdahl Is a Deserter

Moments after ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz reported after investigating the U.S. military is aware of two separate times U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl walked off base on his own accord former Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM) said, “There is no evidence that [Bergdahl]’s a deserter. I was a governor and we dealt with a lot of young men that came back from Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD and mental issues. This is probably what happened to the young man.”
