Fmr Army Vice Chief: It Seems Like U.S. Sacrifices Iraq Were All For Nothing

Former Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Chiarelli spoke with ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz and fill-in host Jonathan Karl about al Qaeda-affiliated ISIS’s invasion of Iraq.

When asked by Karl if the chaos meant the lives and treasure sacrificed by the U.S. military in the Iraq war was for nothing, Chiarelli answered, “It really seems to be that way today.”
