MSNBC's Alter: President's Critics Should 'Put a Sock in It'

MSNBC political analyst Jonathan Alter stated that the president’s critics should “put a sock in it” in an interview on “Ronan Farrow Daily” on Thursday.

Alter responded to House Speaker John Boehner’s criticism of President Barack Obama’s handling off the situation in Iraq by stating, “Whatever mistakes Obama may have made and not aiding the moderates in Syria, they pale in comparison to the fact that he was fundamentally right on the biggest issue of maybe of our lifetimes. The biggest foreign policy decision of our lifetimes.”

He added that the president’s critics, including Alter himself “should have the integrity to admit that they were wrong in 2003 about this war and put a sock in it.”
