MSNBC Host Corrects Dem Rep's Hobby Lobby Falsehoods

Although MSNBC hasn’t giving favorable coverage to the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court decision, their hosts have their limits.  Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) railed against the Supreme Court’s ruling on “MSNBC Live,” at first questioning Hobby Lobby’s religious sincerity, an argument she retreated from when host Craig Melvin asked her if she was really questioning whether Hobby Lobby was a religious business.

Moore then stated, “What I am objecting to is that they should not — these bosses should not be able to tell their employees that they cannot use birth control.”

Melvin quickly pointed out that Moore’s statement was incorrect, and said, “It should be noted they did not tell their employees they could not use birth control.”
