Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” in a report on-scene from Jerusalem, NBC News correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin came under fire earlier in the morning on the Palestinian side of the border when on live TV as Israeli police opened fire on approaching Palestinian protester.
Violence in that region has escalated after earlier in the week three kidnapped Jewish teen boys bodies were discovered. This morning the news of the killing of a Palestinian teen caused crowds of Palestinians protesters to gathered outside the teen home in Jerusalem and throw stones at police.
