MSNBC Report: Honduran Kids Coming for Obama's Amnesty

Monday on MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown,” NBC correspondent Stephanie Gosk, who was tasked with the mission of finding out why there has been a surge of unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border, reported from Honduras where she spoke to the director of a immigration repatriation center who told her the children are going to America because  “a year ago a rumor started spreading they could leave and get to the United States and they would be allowed to stay.”

She said, ‘Obama’s immigration policies misinterpreted’ all of those things combined have led to this huge influx of migrants leaving this area.”

In 2012 Obama signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program which exempts eligible undocumented immigrants under 31 with certain requirements. Unfortunately the details of the requirements are not being correctly explained by the coyotes smuggling the unaccompanied minors across Central America into the United States.
