On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday, co-host Mika Brzezinski greeted the news report of President Barack Obama’s reasoning for deciding against making a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border while on fundraising visit to Texas for not needing a “photo-op” with a montage of of photo-ops Obama had made over the years.
Among the trips “Morning Joe” included in its compilation were a trip to California earlier this year to address the drought in that state, the so-called 2009 “beer summit,” a trip to Louisiana during the aftermath of the BP oil spill and a 2011 trip to El Paso, TX to address border security in his push for immigration reform.
