Tuesday at a press conference, congressional Democratic leaders unveiled Not My Boss’s Business Act, which was meant to override the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision that allows companies to claim of religious freedom and not be forced to pay for their employees using methods of birth control the employers believe is a form of abortion.
House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called the decision “by five guys” on the Supreme Court an “gross assault” saying the courts actions has “singled out” woman for discrimination when it comes to their personal health choices.
