Missouri Governor Declares State of Emergency, Curfew in Ferguson

Several times the crowd erupted into chaos as Missouri State Patrol and Gov. Jay Nixon (D-MO) held a press conference on Saturday to update law enforcement steps in Ferguson, Mo.

A week after Michael Brown was fatally shot during a altercation with officer Darren Wilson, Caption Ron Johnson of the Highway Patrol announced a curfew that will be enforced from midnight to 5am in an attempt to stop looting that has happened in the early morning hours, every night since the shooting.

Gov. Jay Nixon said he had signed an order declaring a state of emergency.
