Gutierrez: Obama Hiding From Voters on Immigration

Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) criticized President Obama for delaying his plan to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants through an executive order until after the election, saying that Obama was saying that Obama doesn’t want voters to be able to judge what we’re going to do” on Tuesday’s “Jose Diaz-Balart” on MSNBC.

Gutierrez accused the president of suspending “justice” and “fairness,” in addition to walking away from the Democratic Party’s “core principles.” And “[there’s] a lot of cynicism out there about politics in Washington, DC, here we’re saying ‘we don’t want the public to know what we’re going to do [and] to be able to judge what we’re going to do. We’re going to wait until after the election.’”
