Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record With Greta Van Susteren,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) blasted President Barack Obama for blaming U.S. intelligence for missing the growing ISIS threat because he wanted to believe his own rhetoric.
Johnson said, “We heard that same testimony or heard of it back in November 2013. But this administration has been aware for quite some time.”
“He basically referred to ISIS as the JV team because he simply wanted to believe his own rhetoric and narrative that al Qaeda was on the run, they decimated it and the war on terror was over.” he added.
