Thursday at a press conference Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, Dallas ISD Superintendent Mike Miles announced and City of Dallas Medical Director Dr. Paul Pepe announced an ” Incident Management Center” to address the quarantines and public safety issues surrounding the Dallas Ebola case.
Throughout the event, Rawlings, Jenkins, Miles and Pepe struggled at time to provide distinct answers to reporters’ questions regarding specifics of the Ebola threat and the conditions of which the family that came in contact with the diagnosed Ebola patient are living.
An information hotline was set up to answer the publics questions about the Ebola virus. Residents can call Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 214-692-2783.
