Talk radio host and author of “The Liberty Amendments,” Mark Levin suggested that Democratic candidates who have distanced themselves from the president are racists on Wednesday.
“Here you have our first black president…and yet in virtually every close contest…he’s persona non grata” he stated.
Levin then wondered, “so doesn’t that mean the Democrat[ic] Party is racist?” He continued “Doesn’t that mean the Democrat[ic] Party is racist since the Democrat[ic] Party is running away from and in some cases, against, the first black president? I’m serious about this.”
He also dismissed claims that Democrats who distanced themselves from the president as a matter of practical politics, declaring “practical politics doesn’t mean anything with Republicans and conservatives, we’re called racists all the time.”
