Bush: No Regrets Going into Iraq

On CBS’ “Sunday Morning,” former President George W. Bush said he does not regret going into Iraq he only regrets the rise of ISIS because of our retreat.

When asked by host Bob Schieffer if he had any regrets about the war in Iraq, the former president said, “No,” adding, “I think it was the right decision. My regret is that a violent group of people have risen up again. This is al Qaeda plus. I put in the book, they need to be defeated. I hope we do. I hope the strategy works.”
