Bill Kristol, Editor of The Weekly Standard, dubbed Jeb Bush “wildly overrated,” and “the most overrated candidate” among the 2016 field in an interview on Tuesday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.”
Kristol briefly sung the praises of Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI), saying he had an “impressive victory” on Election Day, but then turned to Bush. He declared “I think Jeb Bush, with all due respect to him is wildly overrated.” And “there’s no evidence that he’s in touch with Republican or conservative voters, honestly, there’s not much evidence he’s in touch with Independent voters. If you do the match-ups with Hillary, he doesn’t do better than anyone else, and so I think, he’s currently the most overrated candidate.”
He also wondered aloud “where’s he been in the fights?”
