Tuesday ABC News’ chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl grilled White House press secretary Josh Earnest about comment’s President Barack Obama made on Sept 17, 2013 on Telemundo, a Spanish-language network, that specifically expanding deferred action for children illegally in the United States (DACA) to family members, “would be ignoring the law in a way that would be very difficult to defend legally so that is not an option.”
Earnest said they are looking into what the president can do legally, to which Karl responded by asking again if Obama still stands by his statement
“Well obviously there are some things that have changed,” Earnest responded.
