SENATE INTERRUPTED WITH SHOUTING PROTESTERS AFTER KEYSTONE VOTE FAILS

Tuesday night after Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) effort to pass the Keystone XL oil pipeline failed by one vote, the Senate gallery exploded in chants and screaming.

It took several minutes for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who was presiding over the Senate, to regain order as a chant of “Senate Democrats what ya going to do” was heard.
