Jesse Jackson: Ferguson Grand Jury Was a Hangman’s Noose

The Oregonian posted video of Rev. Jesse Jackson outside Justice Center in Portland, OR addressing a crowd estimated to be approximately 400 people in which the civil rights leader attacked the grand jury in Missouri for not bringing charges against former Ferguson, MO Police Officer Darren Wilson for fatally shooting Michael Brown.

Jackson said, “The fact is, for three and a half months, this was no jury of substance. No jury of integrity. No real America. This was a hangman’s noose. It’s not right, and we all deserve better.”
